Sarlat & St. Emilion in France

Published on Friday, March 28th, 2014 Uploaded by: kwallace8k

Sarlat is one of the best-preserved cities in France, with beautiful Renaissance facades. It's a great shopping city and the streets are filled with artists and musicians. The Perigord region's buildings all have a gold tint from the yellow stone of the area. St. Emilion, near Bordeaux, is mostly known for its excellent wines. The city however sits on virtually a honeycomb of passageways, catacombs and an early Christianity Church. Check with the tourist offices and reserve a tour of this underground world.
